Terms of Service

Effective 1 January 2026. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Willow & Wicket Digital Media Private Limited regarding your use of cricketindihq.forum.

1. Acceptance

By accessing this website, registering an account or submitting content you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. You must be at least 16 years old to register an account. If you use the site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep it current. One person may hold one account; alternate or "sock puppet" accounts used to evade moderation or manipulate polls will be removed. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Community obligations

The forum exists for informed, robust discussion of cricket. You agree not to post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, or that incites hatred or violence on the basis of religion, caste, region, gender, sexual orientation, disability or nationality. You further agree not to:

  • Post match-fixing allegations, insider claims or medical information about players without a verifiable published source.
  • Advertise, solicit or link to betting, gambling or fantasy-cash services.
  • Scrape, crawl or systematically copy site content by automated means without written permission.
  • Upload malware, attempt to bypass access controls, or probe the site's security.
  • Impersonate a player, journalist, official or member of our staff.

Moderation decisions are made by human moderators. Every removal is logged with a reason and may be appealed once, in writing, within 14 days.

4. Intellectual property

All editorial articles, data tables, graphics, page layouts, the cricketindihq name and the ball-and-stumps mark are owned by Willow & Wicket Digital Media Private Limited or licensed to us. You may quote up to 150 words of an article with a visible credit and a link to the source page. Republishing an entire article, or using our data tables in a commercial product, requires written permission.

You retain ownership of content you post to the forum. By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to host, display, reproduce, adapt for formatting and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the site. You confirm you have the rights necessary to grant this licence. We will honour a good-faith request to attribute or anonymise your posts following account deletion where technically feasible.

5. Third-party content and links

The site links to external resources such as the BCCI and ICC websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Scores, fixtures and statistics are provided for information only; where accuracy matters — for example for any regulated activity — you should verify against an official source.

6. Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that statistical content is complete or free of inaccuracy. Nothing on this site constitutes betting advice, financial advice or professional guidance of any kind. Opinions expressed by forum members are their own and do not represent our views.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or anticipated savings, arising out of or in connection with your use of the site, whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability arising from or relating to these terms shall not exceed ₹10,000 or the amount you have paid us in the preceding twelve months, whichever is greater. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Willow & Wicket Digital Media Private Limited, its directors, employees and contributors against any claim, demand, loss or reasonable legal cost arising from content you post, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

9. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time from your profile settings or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate access, with or without notice, where we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, where required by law, or where continued access poses a risk to other users or the service. On termination, clauses 4, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 11 survive. Where an account is terminated for a first-time, non-serious breach we will normally offer reinstatement after a defined cooling-off period.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Before commencing formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution by writing to [email protected] and allowing 30 days for a response. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996, seated in Mumbai and conducted in English. Subject to that, the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in the EEA or the UK, this clause does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.

11. General

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in full effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. We may update these terms; material changes will be posted to the news board 14 days before taking effect, and continued use after that date constitutes acceptance. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between us.
